Best Trampoline Cover for Winter Details Review
Here is a details review of the Best Trampoline Cover for Winter.
1. Sammons Preston 9255
Check Best trampoline springs
Although the Sammons Preston 9255 is the last cover I tried, it quickly became one of my favorite trampoline protective covers. The Preston was suggested to me by a friend, and as per his words, ‘it is the best budget trampoline cover,’ so I thought, why not give it a try and see if it was actually worth the purchase.
First things first, the cover costs less than $20, so even if it was crappy, I wasn’t worried a lot. Much to my surprise, it was the complete opposite of crappy, and to this date, I use the cover to protect my mini trampoline in the backyard.
Let me go into the details now. So, the entire thing is vinyl and made up of commercial-grade fabric. It is blue-colored and stitched in an exemplary manner. The cover is durable, lasts for a long time, and is able to bounce off rainwater.
You don’t need to go through a lot to clean the cover; a few wipes will do the trick. Although the cover is meant for the Sammons Preston Mini Exercise Trampoline, it can easily fit with most trampolines that are 38-inches in diameter and 9-inches high.
Nevertheless, it would’ve been better if the cover came with a little more padding. However, you can’t expect more considering the price. And I think for mini trampolines, you can’t really get a better deal than this.
Details:
- Weight: 8.1 ounces
- Material: Vinyl
- Package Dimension: 13.11 x 7.87 x 4.37-inches
- It is very easy to clean
- Able to resist the harmful elements of bad weather
- Durable and made from commercial grade fabric
- Budget-friendly
- The overall padding can be improved
2. Sposuit 12/14/15ft Trampoline Cover
Now, the Sposuit is more of a premium cover than a budget-friendly one. It comes with all the features and some more to make sure your trampoline maintains its integrity. Although it may seem like I’m exaggerating, once you look at the details, it won’t sound so crazy.
The Sposuit protective trampoline cover comes in three different sizes- 12,14, and 15ft. Even if you choose either one of them, all the features will remain the same except for the size.
Check Best trampoline tents
First of all, the cover is made up of high-grade polyethylene. It is able to resist water, and the harmful UV rays of the sun, so bad weather is the last thing you need to worry about when it’s on.
The best aspect I found so far on the cover is that it comes with a water leakage design. You will see there is a small drain in the middle, which ensures there is no standing water on your trampoline. So, it’s an excellent trampoline cover for winter and rainy seasons.
Afterward, it is also able to resist dust and wind, which are usually harmful to a trampoline situated outside of the house.
But what happens if the wind is too strong? Will the cover just fly away? Well, don’t worry; there are about 12 elastic ropes with buckles that not only keep the cover in place but also make sure it is not loose.
Overall, I had no complaints about the cover except for the fact that it was a little too costly for my taste.
Details:
- Weight: 2.44 Kg
- Product Dimension: 1.97″ L X 11.81″ H X 5.91″ W (14 FT)
- Material: Polyethylene
- Shape: Round
- Made up using UV and water resisting materials
- Comes with 12 elastic ropes to keep the cover tight and strong
- Able to resist dust and wind
- Drain makes sure the trampoline is never covered with stagnant water
- Not the most affordable cover
3. CALIDAKA Trampoline Spring Cover
I’ve been talking on and on about full covers for a while now, so I believe it’s time to feast your eyes on something different, the CALIDAKA spring cover. Unlike full covers, it doesn’t wrap the entire trampoline; instead, it goes around the corners only.
Some people prefer a full cover that protects the entire trampoline inch by inch, but there are some who find a spring cover best. Well, a top cover often takes away the integrity of a trampoline, but with something like the CALIDAKA, you or your kids can enjoy the trampoline to the fullest while keeping the springs safe from hazardous substances.
So, the CALIDAKA spring cover comes in many sizes. It is made using oxford cloth, PE, and sponge material. The cover is very to assemble, attach, remove, and clean. It doesn’t take a while to put or remove the entire thing for storage or cleaning purposes.

Additionally, the cover is UV resistant and waterproof, so you have the option to keep your trampoline outside and not worry about finding it in a bad state.
It doesn’t absorb water or lose its shape, plus it is shock absorbent, which reduces the risk of injury when you or your kids are jumping on the trampoline. However, I would’ve bumped it up on my list if it came with a little more padding over the springs.
Details:
- Material: PE material, oxford cloth, sponge
- Item Dimension: Depends on the model you choose
- Weight: 7.4 ounces
- Shape: Round
- It is shock absorbent and reduces the risk of injury
- Waterproof and UV resistant
- Easy to clean, attach and remove
- Able to retain its shape
- A little more padding over the springs would’ve been better
4. Exacme Round Trampoline Weather Cover
I’m not the biggest fan of the Exacme cover, but it certainly does a decent job of protecting an outdoor trampoline. As you can expect, it has its own upsides and downsides. So, let me start with the advantages of the cover.
It comes in a few different sizes, starting from 10 feet and all the way up to 16 feet. So, you have a lot of options to choose from. The cover is made using PE material, meaning it is waterproof; however, it doesn’t have a drain in the middle, so if you don’t clean or remove the water or snow, it will start to weigh down your trampoline, which is terrible for the jump pad and the springs.
Nonetheless, the Exacme cover is able to resist UV rays and withstand harmful weather conditions. You don’t have to worry about dust or wind when the cover is on your trampoline.
Afterward, there are integrated elastic ropes and s-hooks on it that keep the cover tightened to the trampoline. Finally, it doesn’t take much of your time or effort to install the cover.
Details:
- Material: PE
- Shape: Round
- Item Dimension: Depends on the model you choose
- Product Weight: 2.5 Pounds
- It is able to resist or withstand the harmful conditions of the weather
- Easy to install and clean
- Elastic ropes and s-hooks keep the cover tightened to the trampoline
- Comes in different sizes
- Doesn’t have a drain in the middle, so either you need to make some holes on it or clean the cover regularly
5. Tatuo Trampoline Spring Cover
Usually, top covers are for outdoor trampolines, but what if you have an indoor trampoline? Obviously, you’ll need to rely on something else. So, if you aren’t into a top cover for a trampoline, then you can try checking out the Tatuo spring cover. As I’ve said, it only covers the spring, but that is all you need for a mini trampoline.
So, the Tatuo spring cover is suitable for round 36-inch trampolines. It is made using different types of materials. For instance, the inner layer is created from thick PE film, which is smooth yet very strong. The outer portion, on the other hand, is made from 600D oxford cloth, which keeps the cover from being susceptible to tear and abrasion.
The spring cover can be installed and removed easily without any effort whatsoever. So, you don’t have to waste a lot of time removing and cleaning it. Apart from that, the spring cover is shock absorbent and highly dense, and because of that, it doesn’t lose shape and makes the trampoline safer to use.
Details:
- Material: PE, Sponge, 600D Oxford Cloth
- Size: 36-inches in diameter
- Shape: Round
- Package Weight: 0.39 kg
- Made using commercial grade material
- Easy to assemble
- Durable and lasts for a long time
- Doesn’t lose shape over time
- Only comes in one size
6. Upper Bounce Trampoline Protection Cover
If you have owned a trampoline for a while now, then you must’ve heard about Upper Bounce. It’s impossible not to hear the name of the brand when you’ve researched trampolines and protective covers. Anyways, I’m here to talk about the cover and not the brand.
So, the trampoline winter cover comes in different sizes. However, I’ve used the Upper Bounce 14 ft trampoline cover only, but the other models have the same features minus the size.
The universal cover is compatible with almost all the trampoline brands out there, plus it is suitable for trampolines ranging from 7.5 ft to all the way up to 16 ft.
The cover is made up of top-tier PE material, which allows it to protect the trampoline from rain and almost all the other harshest conditions of the weather. Apart from that, it doesn’t take much to install the cover. You won’t need any tools, and you can simply attach the cover using the s-hooks and the v-rings.
The only downside to the cover is that it doesn’t have any drain holes, so when it rains or snows, you’ll need to wipe off or clean the water before it starts to weigh down the jump pad.
Details:
- Material: PE
- Shape: Round
- Item Weight: 1.7 Kgs
- Item Dimension: 168 L x 168 W x 0.1 inches H (14 feet)
- S-hook and v-rings keep the cover firmly in place
- Easy to attach and remove
- Able to resist UV rays, rain, snow, dust, and strong wind
- Compatible with almost all the trampolines out there
- It doesn’t come with drain holes
7. SIHAIAN Trampoline Cover- 8-15 Ft Trampoline Protective Cover
So, I’m down to the last one on my list, and it is the SIHAIAN trampoline cover. It’s a multifunctional cover that can not only be used to protect round trampolines but also for round mini swimming pools.
So, as you can guess from the title, the cover comes in a few different sizes, starting from 8 ft to all the way up to 15 ft. Okay, before going into the details, I would like to mention that there is a slight difference between the 8 ft cover and the other models.
Unlike the other versions, the 8 ft cover doesn’t come with drain holes. It is because of the small size of the cover. However, the manufacturers came up with a solution for it; instead of giving drain holes, they used hydrophobic fabric to make the cover, which does the same job of bouncing off or resisting water.
In any case, water is not the only thing it can resist. The cover is also able to protect the trampoline from dust, snow, and even strong wind.
The 8ft cover comes with three drawstrings and three fixed buckles with elastic straps to keep it tightened to the trampoline. The other models have four drawstrings and fasteners, and it’s also because of the difference in size.
Details:
- Material: PE
- Shape: Round
- Item Weight: 1.7 pounds
- Item Dimension: Depends on the model you choose
- Made using PE material that can resist water, dust, and snow
- It can be used for multiple purposes
- L-Easy to assemble, attach and remove
- Drawstrings and buckles keep it tightened to the trampoline
- It doesn’t have a nice appearance
How to Identify the Best Trampoline Cover: A Complete Buying Guide
So, here are a few things you need to consider or look for before buying a trampoline cover. Don’t worry! They are pretty easy to identify, but once you know it, you will never end up with the wrong cover.
Outdoor or Indoor Trampoline
So, the material or the type of trampoline you’ll choose will depend on what kind of trampoline you own. For instance, if you’re looking for a trampoline to keep leaves out or something to get rid of stagnant water, then you would either want a trampoline with a smooth surface or with drain holes.
Apart from that, top or full covers are suitable for outdoor trampolines, whereas spring covers are the best for indoor or mini trampolines. For outdoor trampolines, you’ll need a cover to resist rain or harsh conditions of weather hence, PE material. However, for indoor trampolines, oxford cloth with a smooth surface is good enough.
Padding
It’s good to get a cover with thick padding. They are more shock absorbent, so they keep your kids safe when they’re jumping on the trampoline. Furthermore, thick pads reduce the tension on the springs, which allows them to last for a longer time.
Safety Features
Nothing beats the convenience of having a safe and tight cover. If the cover starts to come off when you’re exercising or jumping on the trampoline, it increases the chance of injury. So, look for features like elastic ropes, drawstrings, or buckles that can keep the cover tightened to the trampoline.
Price
As you may already know, trampolines are not cheap, especially outdoor or big ones. You’ll already be spending a lot on your trampoline, so you may want to keep your things under control by cutting the cost down for a cover. However, it depends on your budget.
Yes, there is a reason why expensive items are expensive, and it’s because of their quality. But it doesn’t mean that you won’t find something budget-friendly which can also get the job done smoothly.
When All is Said and Done!
These days a protective cover is becoming more of a necessity than a luxury for trampoline owners. If you own a high-end trampoline, you will need something reliable to keep it safe. However, you of all people don’t need to worry about it, because you know which covers can do the job and which can’t.
Again, it’s not hard to get a good cover for your trampoline. You just need to check whether it fits. Also, it should be strong enough to handle whatever elemental might the weather gods bring down upon your trampoline.
Once you have the best trampoline cover in your arsenal, there is little to no chance of your trampoline meeting its demise because of poor weather conditions. So, what are you waiting for? Go ahead and make sure your trampoline is protected. Good Luck!
