Go Strong, Go Heavy-Duty: Best Sportspower Trampolines

The journey of Sportspower LTD began in 1992 with two optimistic business partners. With their combined wits and innovative ideas, they have taken Sportspower to the peak of heights.

Sportspower produces all sorts of outdoor equipment for kids, including slides, swings, trampolines, and many more. Honestly, I came to know about Sportspower a lot after it gained recognition. One of my friends told me to try out their equipment as I was into trampolines.

Well, as per his suggestion, I did try out some trampolines fromSportspower, and I must admit, I had a wonderful time seeing my kids enjoy their trampolines.

I can’t deny the fact that not all Sportspower trampolines are worth the purchase. Some are just not good enough to be compared with Skywalker, Zupapa, or Upper Bounce trampolines. However, if you can find the best Sportspower trampolines, then you might think otherwise.

Top 5 Sportspower Trampolines

I’ve made a list of the top five best Sportspower trampolines on the market. I have selected these trampolines myself, and I believe they can also catch your interest.

1- Sportspower Outdoor My First Kids Trampoline with Safety Enclosure Net

Sportspower Outdoor My First Kids Trampoline with Safety Enclosure Net
  • Weight Capacity: More than 100lbs
  • Safety: ASTM
  • Frame Material: Galvanized Alloy Steel
  • Item Weight: 70lbs
  • Pad Type: Foam Pad

Truth be told, I wasn’t into Sportspower when I started using trampolines. I was more into brands like Skywalker, Zupapa, and Upper Bounce. However, one of my friends, who is also as enthusiastic as me about trampolines, told me to give Sportspower a shot.

I had relied on his advice more times than I can count. So, naturally, I decided to give Sportspower trampolines a chance because my friend’s suggestions had never failed me so far.

He told me to start with the Sportspower Outdoor My First Kids trampoline, and I didn’t question him a second time. Guess what? He was right, and my kids loved using the trampoline.

Okay, enough with the background story. Let’s look at the good stuff.

The trampoline comes with a solid overall build. It features a heavy-duty galvanized steel frame, which can resist rust and the elements of weather. It is also durable and long-lasting. The one I’ve got lasted for a couple of years, so I have no complaints about the longevity of the trampoline.

Check The Best Heavy Duty Trampoline Of 2023.

Additionally, the trampoline is pretty stable due to the unique blow-molded legs. It’s not something I’ve seen before. I used many trampolines from various brands, and none of them came with such a leg design.

For instance, the Skywalker mini trampoline and Little Tikes 3′ trampoline have rubberized legs, but the legs on the Sportspower My First Kids trampoline is much bigger and, honestly, a lot more stable.

However, I’ve found an issue with the legs. One of the rooms in my house has vinyl flooring. I kept the trampoline there for a few days because we were remodeling the living room. After a few days, I noticed some scratch marks on the floor.

So, whatever you do, don’t keep the trampoline on vinyl flooring.

The trampoline weighs about 70 lbs, so it’s not too heavy but not too light, either. Moving the trampoline is challenging for one person, but you can do it easily if you have an extra pair of hands.

Although the packaging says the total weight capacity of the trampoline is 100 lbs, I think it’s a lot more than that. Both my kids were able to play on the trampoline despite the instructions saying not to put two children on it together.

Assembling Sportspower Outdoor My First Kids Trampoline with Safety Enclosure Net

I think my wife also jumped on the trampoline once with our youngest. So, it’s safe to say the Sportspower trampoline can accommodate multiple users and has a weight capacity higher than 100 lbs.

Anyways, the trampoline features a UV-treated jump mat and enclosure net. So, you can keep it outside without having to worry about anything. The net and mat seemed pretty sturdy, in my opinion.

Apart from that, there is a foam-padded spring cover to prevent pinch points or spring-related injuries. You also might find it interesting that the trampoline meets and exceeds the safety standards of ASTM.

So, the Sportspower trampoline uses springs instead of bungee cords like the Stamina Fitness trampoline. It makes the trampoline bouncier than the former.

I don’t remember how many springs were there on the trampoline because I forgot to count them while assembling. All I can say is there were enough springs to ensure a decent bounce quality.

Setting up the trampoline is a tough job. The instruction manual is complete garbage. I tried following the guide at first, which only complicated things. So, after a lot of tinkering, I think I was able to assemble the trampoline in about two hours.

Hence, I suggest you ask your friend or partner to help you with the assembly. It is sure to make things much more convenient.

What I Liked

  • Comes with a durable and long-lasting build
  • The corners and poles are foam padded to ensure child safety
  • UV-resistant mat and It net make the trampoline suitable for outdoors
  • It is able to accommodate multiple kids

What I Didn’t Like

  • The provided manual is useless and makes things worse
  • The legs are not optimal for vinyl flooring

2- Sportspower 15 Ft Outdoor Trampoline with Safety Enclosure Net

Sportspower 15 Ft Outdoor Trampoline with Safety Enclosure Net
  • Weight Capacity: 330lbs
  • Safety: ASTM Standards
  • Frame Material: Galvanized Steel
  • Springs: 96
  • Enclosure: Polyethylene

Once I got a taste of the Sportspower My First Kids trampoline, I couldn’t resist getting a bigger or a family trampoline from the same brand. The previous trampoline was undoubtedly great, but it was not suitable for my weight.

So, after searching high and low, I came across the Sportspower 15ft outdoor trampoline. It was indeed a fine addition to our family fun time. Although the trampoline couldn’t hold every one of us at the same time, it was sturdy enough to accommodate all of us individually.

Check Best 20 ft trampoline

First things first, the trampoline has an overall dimension of 180″ L X 105.6″ W X 108.12″ H. It is a 15 ft trampoline, so naturally, it has an enormous jumping surface. My kids could bounce inside without worrying about colliding with one another.

Sportspower 15 Ft Outdoor Trampoline with Safety Enclosure Net

We have enough space in our backyard, so we had no issue putting the trampoline there. However, if you have a small yard, then you might consider getting something smaller like the Skywalker 12 ft trampoline or the Zupapa No-gap design 10ft trampoline.

Assembling the trampoline was more challenging than I expected. Although it came with a spring pull tool, it took me a few hours to set it up. If I had some help, then it might have taken me only an hour. So, I would suggest you get an extra pair of hands before installing it. Still, prepare yourself to spend at least two hours assembling the trampoline.

Anyways, the trampoline features a robust galvanized steel frame construction. It is able to resist rust and most elements of the weather. I haven’t tried keeping it outside during a thunderstorm, so I don’t know whether it can survive a storm.

The Sportspower trampoline has a maximum load capacity of 330 lbs, which is far more than the weight limit you get from the Sportspower My First Kids trampoline.

The weight capacity was enough to accommodate most of my family members. I went inside the trampoline with my children, and it was able to take our load relatively easily. I also used the trampoline with my wife, and there were no issues; however, I don’t know if it can hold all of us together (me, my wife, and my two kids).

The trampoline is pretty stable due to the six rust-resistant W-shaped legs. It also comes with a TenCatePermatron jump mat and UV-resistant PE enclosure net.

The jumping mat, along with the 96 high-strength springs, allowed the trampoline to dish out a top-level bounce. The bounce was pretty smooth and far more significant than what you get from most standard trampolines.

The frame poles, on the other hand, are foam padded for enhanced safety. Additionally, the enclosure net had a doorway with a double-zip design, which ensured my little ones were safe and secure inside the trampoline all the time.

I really liked the fact that the spring pad is positioned outside the enclosure. It’s not like I had doubts about the spring cover, but still knowing my kids couldn’t move the pad and hurt themselves gave me peace of mind.

Nonetheless, the trampoline is somewhat expensive, which is why I thought it would come with a ladder. However, it didn’t, so it was a bit difficult for my kids to climb inside.

I will still say the trampoline is worth the money. It meets and exceeds the ASTM safety standards. As for the ladder, you can simply place a stool for your kids.

What I Liked

  • The trampoline is suitable for multiple users
  • It is durable, stable, and long-lasting
  • It comes with 96 high-tension springs for the bounce
  • The trampoline is safe for both kids and adults

What I Didn’t Like

  • It doesn’t come with a ladder
  • The assembly process is time-consuming and complicated

3- Sportspower Heavy Duty Outdoor Trampoline

Sportspower Heavy Duty Outdoor Trampoline
  • Weight Capacity: 220lbs
  • Safety: ASTM
  • Frame Material: Alloy Steel
  • Springs: 96
  • Pad Type: Foam

Before I begin, I would like to tell you guys that I don’t have first-hand experience using the trampoline. I wanted to get the Sportspower heavy-duty outdoor trampoline, but I couldn’t for a few reasons. I already had two trampolines in my house when I first saw the Sportspower heavy-duty trampoline, which is also why I didn’t get it.

So, I saw this trampoline at one of my friend’s houses, and after watching his kids enjoying it, I was really tempted to get the trampoline for my children. In the end, I made a choice not to purchase it, but it didn’t stop me from snooping around.

I don’t know if you’ve seen heavy-duty trampolines, but this one has all it takes to be one. The trampoline features a heavy-duty powder-coated galvanized steel frame, which can resist rust and withstand the elements of weather.

Check Best rectangle trampoline

It also has a T-weld design for the legs. The unique build makes the trampoline very stable. I’ve seen my friend’s children bouncing inside it with all their might; however, it didn’t seem to make the trampoline budge. The trampoline didn’t even move an inch from its position or wobble during their playtime.

Sportspower Heavy Duty Outdoor Trampoline

I believe the maximum weight capacity of the trampoline is somewhere around 220 lbs. My friend said it was written on the instructions, plus I’ve seen about three kids bouncing inside the trampoline at the same time. So, it is probably around 220 lbs.

Apart from that, the trampoline features a well-stitched UV-treated enclosure net and an extra-bouncy jump mat. Both of these things looked very strong, in my opinion. Additionally, the net uses something called the Steelflex technology, making it more flexible and sturdier than standard enclosures.

My friend said they’ve been using the trampoline for a while now, and there have been no tears or wear so far.

The trampoline is quite bouncy. It comes with 96 coiled springs, which makes it offer an impressive bounce. I’ve seen the kids bouncing, and they actually went up pretty high.

There is a circle mark on the jump mat, notifying the users about the center. It assists jumpers in finding the perfect bouncing spot, allowing them to bounce higher and more stably.

Installing the trampoline is not something you’d want to repeat. My friend told me; it took hours for him to assemble the trampoline. He also said that the instruction manual was absolutely useless; it made things more complicated than they were already.

So, after learning almost everything about the Sportspower heavy-duty outdoor trampoline from my friend, I went to check it myself. It comes in three sizes: 8, 10, and 15 feet. It also features three different colors, so you have a few options to choose from.

The price of the trampoline varies according to the size you choose. The 15ft model is actually pretty expensive. It’s even costlier than the previous trampoline I’ve mentioned. However, the other two variants are affordable.

Check best square trampoline

Even though the trampoline is a bit too expensive, it can still be considered a value purchase. As I said, heavy-duty trampolines are built differently, and they can last for years. So, the Sportspower heavy-duty outdoor trampoline is like a one-time investment that can provide you service for many years.

What I Liked

  • The trampoline is exceptionally durable and long-lasting
  • It comes with a foam-padded cover to eliminate spring-related injuries
  • It meets and exceeds the ASTM standards
  • Package includes spring pull tool and water anchor kit

What I Didn’t Like

  • A bit costlier than I expected
  • The installation manual is vague, making it difficult to assemble the trampoline

4- Sportspower Mountain View Metal Swing, Slide, and Trampoline Set

Sportspower Mountain View Metal Swing, Slide, and Trampoline Set
  • Weight Capacity: 800lbs
  • Safety: ASTM
  • Frame Material: Alloy Steel, Metal
  • Total Items: Six

If you’re planning to keep your kids entertained in different ways or want them to have fun with all their friends, then you might want to look into the Sportspower Mountain View trampoline set.

The trampoline set is not like a typical trampoline, where kids or adults bounce to either exercise or have fun. It is a combination of a few things with different activities for children to enjoy.

When I couldn’t keep my little ones occupied with just a trampoline, I knew that I had to change my strategy. So, I looked into a few things, and the Sportspower trampoline set was the best available option. It came within my budget, which made it even more convenient.

So, the set comes with a total of five things: a slide, a glider, two swings, a flying saucer, and finally, a trampoline. So, it’s actually six things, but two of them are the same.

Each of them has a single user weight capacity of 100 lbs, and the total load limit of the set is 800 lbs. It is a lot, in my opinion. Most trampolines have a weight capacity of 200 to 300 lbs, but this one has a limit far higher.

Sportspower Mountain View Metal Swing, Slide, and Trampoline Set

So, I’ve seen my kids and even their friends enjoying the different activities that came along with the set. The entire thing can be used by eight kids at a time, so my children and their buddies never had to take turns to play. They simply switched from one activity to another and spent hours playing their heart out.

The trampoline set seems very tough. The frame is made up of heavy-duty 2-inch alloy steel tubes. The overall construction is pretty durable, and I was able to leave the trampoline outdoors without having to worry about rust buildup or other elements of the weather.

So, the trampoline itself is 42 inches in diameter with a handlebar on the side. The saucer, on the other hand, can accommodate two kids simultaneously. Additionally, the glide is also suitable for two children.

All of the swing chains are adjustable. So, it won’t matter how short or long your kid is. You can just adjust the chains to match their height for a smoother experience.

Setting up the entire thing was a major pain in the butt. It took me hours and a lot of effort to finish installing the set. If you’re planning to do it alone, be prepared to spend the next six to seven hours of your life on it.

So, I would strongly suggest you bring an extra pair of hands for the assembly process. It will make things a few times easier and will cut the required time in half.

I’ve noticed that the two swing seats and the glide are relatively small compared to the other parts. So, I think these two things won’t be suitable for big kids or children who are eight years or above. If your kids are younger than 8, then it shouldn’t be an issue.

The trampoline set complies with the safety standards of ASTM. So, you can rely on its durability and not worry about when it might fall apart.

In brief, the Sportspower Mountain View trampoline set is something your kids are going to love for sure. It will give them a lot of fun activities to choose from, which is sure to keep them excited, entertained, and active for many years.

What I Liked

  • It’s an all-in-one item with five different activities for children
  • The trampoline set it safe to use and meets the ASTM standards
  • Eight kids can use it at a time
  • It is sturdy, rust-resistant, and can be kept outdoor

What I Didn’t Like

  • Assembling the trampoline set requires tremendous effort and a lot of hours
  • The glide and the swings are suitable for kids above eight years

5- Sportspower MSC-84MFT-WM Bounce Pro 7′ Trampoline

Sportspower MSC-84MFT-WM Bounce Pro 7' Trampoline
  • Weight Capacity: More Than 100lbs
  • Safety: ASTM
  • Frame Material: Galvanized Alloy Steel
  • Item Weight: 72lbs
  • Pad Type: Foam Pad

The last on my list is the Sportspower MSC-84MFT-WM Bounce Pro trampoline. The trampoline is pretty similar to the Sportspower Outdoor My First Kids trampoline, which is why I got it in the first place.

After finding success with the former, I wanted my kids to try out something similar. So, after going through a few Sportspower trampolines, I came across the MSC-84MFT-WM Bounce Pro trampoline.

I won’t bore you with my experience this time. So, I’ll just cut right into the details.

As you can see in the title, the trampoline is 7ft in diameter. It is big enough for two or even three kids. The manufacturers advise not to put more than one child inside the trampoline, but it won’t be a problem.

Sportspower MSC-84MFT-WM Bounce Pro 7' Trampoline

The trampoline features a robust galvanized steel construction. It looks pretty durable; however, I had some issues with rust buildup. One of the corners started to rust. It was because I kept it outside on a rainy day.

So, it’s not entirely rust-resistant, as it says. But if you maintain it regularly, then rust shouldn’t be an issue.

The trampoline has a gorgeous green and blue color. It has a stylish exterior. It doesn’t come in other colors, but the one it has already is decent enough.

The manufacturers state that the total weight capacity is 100 lbs, but it’s wrong. It is much more than 100 lbs because I’ve seen three kids that are about 80 lbs each play inside the trampoline.

The net and jump mat are also very durable. Knowing my kids, they can tear anything in only a few weeks. However, they were not able to rip apart the net or the mat.

Apart from that, the trampoline features blow-molded legs for enhanced stability and a foam-padded cover to eliminate the risk of pinch points and spring-related injuries. Additionally, it complies with the ASTM safety standards, which is always nice to see if you have kids.

The frame poles are also padded with foam, so there is almost no risk of children hurting themselves while bouncing.

Nonetheless, setting up the trampoline was not a joke. It takes a while before you finally get the hang of it. Unless you have experience installing a trampoline, it might take you more than a few hours to finish the job.

What I Liked

  • It is suitable for multiple kids
  • The trampoline is pretty bouncy
  • The mat and the net are strong
  • Foam-padded spring cover and frame poles ensure maximum safety

What I Didn’t Like

  • It might catch rust if you don’t maintain it regularly
  • Installing the trampoline requires a significant amount of work and time

Buying Guide: Best Sportspower Trampolines

Buying Guide Best Sportspower Trampolines

All trampoline brands have a lot of different trampolines at their disposal. Some of these trampolines are extraordinary, whereas some are not up to the mark. The same goes for Sportspower and their trampolines.

Keep in mind that some of the trampolines of Sportspower do not have what it takes to be considered top-tier. There are few things that separate the good ones from the bad ones. In this section, I’m gonna tell you what things you need to consider before settling for a Sportspower trampoline.

Size

Whether you’re buying a Skywalker, Zupapa, or Sportspower trampoline, the first thing you need to check is the size. Similar to other brands, Sportspower also produces trampolines of different sizes. It can be as small as 7ft or as big as 15ft.

Consider the size you have available in your yard or wherever you want to put the trampoline. If you have enough space, opt for a larger trampoline, as multiple kids will be able to enjoy it. However, if you don’t, then you can stick to smaller alternatives.

Overall Build

If the Sportspower trampoline you’re getting is not durable, then why bother wasting your money in the first place? In order to enjoy a long-time service from a trampoline, you need to see what materials are used to manufacture the different parts.

Check if the frame can resist rust or if the mat and net can resist the UV rays of the sun. Some Sportspower trampolines can be left outdoors as they are immune to the elements of weather. If you are planning to keep your trampoline outdoors, make sure it is weather resistant.

Budget

I don’t know if you have noticed or not, but some Sportspower trampolines cost a lot more than others.

For instance, the Sportspower 15 ft Heavy-Duty Outdoor trampoline with Steelflex enclosure is far more expensive than all the trampolines I’ve mentioned. However, you also need to know that it is more durable than the rest.

So, consider your budget and make a choice according to it. No point in leaving a hole in your wallet for a trampoline.

Trampoline or Trampoline Set

Whether you want a trampoline or a trampoline set, it is totally up to you. If you have more than two kids or your children’s friends often come by your house to play, then the smart thing would be to get a trampoline set, as it allows eight kids to play simultaneously.

Furthermore, there are multiple activities for little ones to enjoy on a trampoline set. So, if you feel like your kids are getting bored playing on the same old trampoline, then you can opt for a set with swings, saucers, glides, and even a slide.
