Usually, when I’m going through trampolines, I have to check and test out many pieces of equipment. However, in the case of 20 ft trampolines, the choice was pretty simple. As I mentioned, there are only a few 20 ft trampolines on the market, so choosing the best one (Happy Rectangle Trampoline) among the limited options was relatively easy.

My entire family, including my wife and two kids, were able to hop into the trampoline without it budging an inch. I think it could’ve accommodated a few more people, and still, it wouldn’t have been a problem.

As I said, my eldest is into gymnastics. He sort of goes crazy on the trampoline, so naturally, I was a little worried if the trampoline could withstand his high acrobatic jumps. Well, what do you know! It held up better than I could imagine.

Additionally, you won’t be able to move the trampoline unless you disassemble it. It weighs around 550 lbs when it is fully assembled. Therefore, it becomes a little annoying when you need to relocate the trampoline to make space in the yard or for other purposes.

With that said, these are minor issues that can be dealt with efficiently if you’re a little vigilant. Yes, it may take you hours to assemble the trampoline, but once you do it, you or your kids are gonna have a wonderful time.

The next one on my list is the Galactic Xtreme rectangle trampoline by Best Trampoline USA. Before throwing all the details at you, I want to clear out something first. The trampoline is very much similar to the former.

Most of the specs are the same, and even the price. So, the Galactic Xtreme by Best Trampoline USA can’t necessarily be considered an alternative to the Happy Rectangle trampoline. Instead, it is all about which brand you prefer more, Best Trampoline USA or Happy Trampoline.

With this out of the way, let’s talk specs and details. Similar to the former, the Galactic Xtreme trampoline comes in multiple sizes. There are a total of five options, including the 20 ft model. Two of them are smaller, and two of them are bigger than the 20 ft variant.

However, I believe it’s not necessary because you wouldn’t be here unless you were looking for a 20 ft trampoline.

A friendly reminder, the 10×20 ft is enormous, and unless you have decent space in your yard, it will practically swallow the entire area. It might look small in the pictures but don’t get fooled by them. Measure the space in your yard or wherever you want to place the trampoline and see if there is enough space first.

As I mentioned, the trampoline has a lot of things in common with the former. So, you expect the same level of durability and safety from it.

The Galactic Xtreme trampoline uses double-dipped galvanized 3.0mm thick steel tubes for the frame. The density allows it to remain durable and withstand bouncing impacts, while the double-dipped galvanization technology enables it to resist corrosion and rust.

You don’t need to worry about safety when you’re using this trampoline. It meets and exceeds the ASTM and TUV standards. It also comes with a high-grade polyester mesh enclosure net featuring a patented Stay-put design to ensure jumpers don’t bounce out or tear it when they come in contact with it.

However, I would’ve preferred if the spring pad was situated outside the net. I don’t doubt the quality of the spring cover, as it looks sturdy. But it would’ve given me peace of mind.

Anyways, the enclosure poles are padded with cushions, which also flex on impact. So, even when my kids or I got a little crazy, we never got injured severely.

The Galactic Xtreme has a weight capacity of 750 lbs, similar to the Happy Rectangle trampoline. A high weight limit means more people can enjoy the trampoline simultaneously. In my opinion, 750 lbs is more than enough because three to four people can enjoy jumping on the trampoline.

The trampoline uses 140 thick and long springs to offer an outstanding bounce quality. It also comes with an included ladder for kids to access the trampoline without breaking a sweat.

Assembling and installing the trampoline is like finding Waldo. It is complicated and almost impossible when you’re planning to do it alone. So, I would suggest you don’t try to be a hero and use someone’s help to set up the trampoline.

The Galactic Xtreme trampoline is best suited for gymnastics, acrobatics, and cheerleading training. It’s not an ordinary trampoline, and purchasing it would require you to slice your monthly salary in half.

However, if you want to enjoy a pleasant family fun time, hone your gymnastic skills, or need it to train your kids or students to become an athlete, then nothing beats the convenience of the Galactic Xtreme trampoline by Best Trampoline USA.

Two Best 20 ft Water Trampoline

I inherited a lake house from my mother’s side of the family. I often take my family out there during the holidays and sometimes even on the weekends. It’s a peaceful place with an extraordinary view; however, even the most attractive sites can become tedious when you don’t have something exciting to do.

I think you can guess where I am going with this. We soon, especially my kids, got bored of the lake house after a while. So, in order to make things more exciting, I decided to get the Island Hopper 20-foot Acrobat water trampoline.

It was the first water trampoline I owned. I came across many such trampolines later, but only a few could pique my interest as this one did.

Let’s start with the tube first. It is made up of state-of-the-art PVC material, which is 9 mm thick and reinforced with 1100 Denier mesh. The tube is made to last, is highly tensile, and can withstand tearing. It also features a UV-resistant coating to endure the effects of high temperature and abrasion.

I’ve been using the water trampoline for quite some time, yet the tube is still intact, and there is no visible sign of any damage or strain.

Apart from that, the Island Hopper water trampoline features a three-chamber inflation tube. It takes about 15 to 20 minutes to inflate the entire thing with a shop vac. As far as I’ve seen, the tube doesn’t require much reinflating. It has exceptional strength and remains inflated for a long time.

If you didn’t know, then let me enlighten you— some water trampolines also use frames and springs like a standard above-ground trampoline. Such is the case with the Island Hopper trampoline as well. It features a galvanized steel frame, which is able to resist rust and corrosion.

I believe the exact number of springs it uses is 96. The manual says it is 72, but it is undoubtedly a typo from the manufacturer’s end. Each spring is about 8.5 inches long, so no complaints about the bounce quality from my side.

The water trampoline has steel flat head bolted connections and 20 frame secure tie straps, which ensure a solid overall assembly. However, assembling the trampoline is tiresome and, at the same time, daunting. The instructions are clear, yet I couldn’t do the job alone. It took my wife and me almost 3 to 4 hours to set up the water trampoline.

Anyways, the Island Hopper trampoline features a 700 PSI polypropylene mat and a 1-inch foam padded spring cover. The mat seemed quite durable and bouncy, while the pad did an excellent job of keeping the springs at bay. And also, the spring pad is resistant to UV rays and won’t lose color in time.

Additionally, the trampoline comes with seven D-rings for secure anchoring. Make sure to use all of them for safe mooring, or else the trampoline might float away when there is a gale. I’ve made the mistake of using only the inner rings and found my trampoline in the middle of the lake after a freak storm.

Never again will I make the same blunder, as it was unbelievably challenging to bring the water trampoline to the shore.

The trampoline features a total of eight swimmer assist handles situated all across the tube to make things even more convenient. These grips help out a lot when you’re trying to climb it using the included four-step entry ladder.

Nonetheless, it would’ve been perfect if the trampoline came with an inflator or pump. It kinda stinks that I had to buy a vacuum pump after spending so much money on a trampoline.

Well, I guess it is what it is. You can’t expect to get everything from a single item. There are some things that will disappoint, but what matters more is if the water trampoline you’re getting is suitable for your setting or not.

2- RAVE Sports Aqua Jump Eclipse 20′ Water Trampoline

As I said, I couldn’t decide which water trampoline to put first on the list, so I chose to place them alphabetically. So, don’t get the wrong idea that the RAVE Sports Aqua Jump Eclipse 20 ft water trampoline is not up to the mark in comparison to the Island Hopper 20 ft water trampoline.

With that out of the way, let’s dive into the details. So, the Aqua Jump 200 is probably the third or fourth water trampoline I bought, but it quickly became one of my favorites.

First of all, the trampoline has two color options: Blue/Yellow and Northwoods. The second option is a little more expensive than the first one, but it also looks better, especially in a green setting.

Unlike the Island Hopper water trampoline, this one doesn’t feature a frame; instead, it comes with V-rings on the tube to attach the mat to the trampoline. The V-rings and the springs are made up of hot-dipped galvanized steel, so you can rely on their ability to resist rust and corrosion.

The trampoline has a maximum weight capacity of 1050 lbs, which is more than enough to accommodate everyone in my family. As far as I know, it can easily hold three adults or six children. So, the number of people you want to take won’t be an issue if you have the trampoline.

Apart from that, the tube is manufactured using 28 oz UV-treated 1000 denier PVC vinyl. It makes the tube durable and allows it to last for a long time while helping it retain air most effectively. The jump mat, on the other hand, is made with black nylon webbing. The mat, along with the 112 springs, makes the trampoline very bouncy. My kids never complained about the bounce quality, and neither did their friends.

The trampoline comes with a padded cover to prevent spring-related injuries. The pad does an excellent job of covering and holding the springs. You know how important that can be when you have some over-enthusiastic kids.

Although the Eclipse 200 is a lightweight trampoline due to not having a frame, it is still quite tricky to assemble it. If it’s your first time setting up a water trampoline, then be prepared for a few hours of agony.

The trampoline includes additional items like an inflator pump, a 5-step ladder, and an anchor connector kit. However, the extra accessories are eclipsed by the price. The Eclipse 200 is much costlier than the Island Hopper. But considering all the features it offers, it is still worth the purchase.
