Before I get into the details of this trampoline, I must say – when I started searching, SereneLife was not what I expected to end up with. It’s not a popular brand like Skywalker, ORCC, Zupapa, Upper Bounce, and Happy Trampoline. Still, it’s on a similar level when it comes to 8 feet trampolines.

The one factor that really stands out (which is the reason why I kept SereneLife on top of this list) is the price to weight capacity. Usually, 8 feet trampolines priced around $200-$250 don’t have a weight capacity beyond 175-250lbs.

And on that average price range, SereneLife can hold up to 264lbs without a hiccup. I know the AOTOB 8 FT trampoline has 400lbs, but the jumping pads and spring count are not good. Even Zupapa 8 FT has a 375lbs capacity, but it’s more expensive.

So, that’s why the SereneLife 8 FT trampoline takes the crown. And it’s not just the weight capacity. For instance, the AOTOB 8 FT has a 400lbs weight capacity – so why put it in position 3? Well, the AOTOB doesn’t have an elastic jumping pad, unlike the SereneLife. So, SereneLife naturally has a greater bounce.

Plus, the legs of this 8 ft trampoline are different in comparison. Most trampolines have a w-shaped leg, and there’s nothing wrong with it. But I think the L-shape gives it more stability. Even when my kids go crazy on the trampoline, it doesn’t budge.

Apart from that, all the other stuff is pretty standard. The trampoline’s got ASTM pass – so it’s safe. It has a sturdy PP jumping pad. With 48 springs and an elastic jumping pad, you can rest assured that the bounce is going to be badass. However, the Skywalker Jump N’ Dunk takes the cake here with its 56 springs.

Skywalker is a household name for homeowners who want a trampoline in their backyard for the kids but don’t want to chuck away obscene amounts of money in the process.

Don’t get me wrong, Skywalker trampolines are expensive too because quality doesn’t come without a cost, but the smaller models, like the Jump N’ Dunk 8ft, are priced reasonably for the performance that it offers.

When you are buying an 8 feet trampoline, I think it’s a safe bet that you are not buying it for an adult; kids will be the ones using it. And when you are buying it for kids, your priority is naturally towards their safety, right? Well, you’ll be happy to know that this trampoline is as safe as they come.

This trampoline features the brand’s patented no-gap enclosure system as its first line of defense. It basically eliminates the chance of getting pinched between the net and the springs. Speaking of the nets, I was also pretty happy with the safety enclosure that comes with the trampoline.

As for the springs, they are strong, and seeing how they are made from galvanized steel, it is not at all surprising. The springs should survive all weather conditions, and even if you keep your trampoline out in the rain all the time, it should be fine.

Whenever I am looking at a cheap trampoline, my spider sense starts tingling. And my mind drifts off to safety issues that might come up with the trampoline. Usually, I would suggest staying away from cheap trampolines, especially if you are buying one for your kids.

But after a lot of nagging from my friends to at least try it out, I caved and got myself the AOTOB 8Ft model. My thought was to try it out, return it, and get myself a replacement. However, once I tried it out, I decided to keep it for the kids as I found no reason to doubt its safety and quality.

Don’t get me wrong; there is a lot of room for improvement. And if it cost me 300 or 400 dollars, I would have changed it in an instant. But for a sub-200 dollars model, this trampoline is exceptionally well-made. Let me talk a bit about its features, and you’ll see what I mean.

First off, this trampoline comes with a high-density mesh enclosure as its first line of defense against accidents. The design of the enclosure is nice, and it comes with large zippers to further enhance its safety. This meant I did not have to stay nearby if my kids were using the trampoline. This is one of the few 8 foot trampoline suitable for adults, thanks to its superior weight capacity and spring strength. It can handle up to 425 pounds of body weight. So, if you feel like jumping in with your kids, you should be fine in terms of weight capacity.

And the safety design of the trampoline is also top-notch, giving you a durable, high-density PE Mesh Netting, along with a PP jumping mat. The spring pads feature PE and PVC foam and are about 20 mm thick. So, you won’t get your feet stuck in the springs by accident.

This is the cheapest trampoline on this list, but just because it is priced low doesn’t mean it lags behind when it comes to performance and quality. In fact, if you are on a tight budget and this is your first trampoline, you would be pretty surprised by the level of entertainment that it brings to your backyard.

It has an impressive weight capacity of 300 pounds. Yes, it is not the best out there, but for kids, it should be fine. But if you are buying it for adults, you might be better off looking elsewhere.

The included enclosure net in the trampoline is pretty well-made, featuring a tightly woven mesh PE construction. As for the jumping mat, it is made using polypropylene, the same material you would find in more expensive models.

In addition, the metal components such as the frames and the springs all feature galvanized steel. This means the trampoline will survive any weather condition, and if you keep it outside all the time, it should be fine.

Well, if that sounds familiar, then let me give you a good option that comes under that 200-dollar price tag and offers you a decent jumping experience. And if you love this one, then, later on, you can consider moving up and getting yourself a more expensive trampoline.

Let me make one thing clear, though; I would not recommend the Doufit trampoline if you have a higher budget. I don’t hate it, but I just think there are better models out there if you are willing to expand your budget a bit more.

The trampoline comes with a basic mesh safety net that offers a decent layer of protection. In addition, the polypropylene jumping mat feels good and elastic and offers you a good level of bounce, thanks to the galvanized steel springs.

Since the spring stays outside the enclosure, there is zero risk of getting your limbs stuck there. The thing I love most about the trampoline, though, is its weight capacity. Since it can handle up to 375 pounds, you should be safe if you decide to get a couple of jumps in along with your kids.

Even when I am shopping for affordable trampolines, I never overlook the build quality. For me, it takes priority over all else, including the bounciness. And frankly, the build quality of this trampoline is what sold me on it in the first place.
